Q: What are the details for the optional Friday Golf?
A: Friday Golf will be individual tee times starting at 10:56 am at the Apple Valley course - this is a "play your own ball" practice round and you can request a partner and/or foursome or we will match you up.
Q: What is the dress code for golf?
A: Women - Conservative, tailored slacks, golf skirts, shorts. Socks should be knee high or no more than two inches above the ankle. Proper soft-spike golf shoes

Q: What will the weather be and what should I plan for golf clothing?
A: Fall in the mountains is unpredictable but you should be prepared for cool mornings with a gradual warming. Recommend that you bring a jacket, vest, or sweater and go with the "layered" look.

Q: What are the formats for Saturday and Sunday golf??
A: Saturday –Shamble (Texas Scramble) - All members of each foursome tee off and the best ball of the four tee shots is selected. All players move their balls to the spot of the best ball. From this point, each player plays their own ball until they hole out. Record each score and total the best three for the team score on each hole.
Sunday – Captain’s Choice (Scramble) - All members of each foursome tee off and the best ball of the four tee shots is selected. All players move their balls to the spot of the best ball for this and for each subsequent shot until they hole out. Record one score for the team for each hole.
Q: What are the most convenient airports to the resort?
A: There are three choices for airports for Rumbling Bald Resort:
Asheville (AVL) 36 miles - 55 minutes
Greenville/Spartanburg (GSP) 58 miles - 1hr, 5 minutes
Charlotte (CLT) 83 miles - 1hr, 45 minutes

Q: What are the options for Friday night dinner after the reception which goes from 5:30 to 7:00 pm?
A: For the cooks in the group (who thought to bring stuff to cook) you can dine, party in the villas.

Q: What goes on Saturday evening, what should I wear?
A: Included in all packages is a dinner with a cash bar followed by dancing to the popular five piece band, The Last Resort. Think resort casual for the dress for dinner and dancing.
